I worked for the Design and Construction team for the theater department for a year, in the scene shop. I learned about the typical equipment used in theater productions, and learned how to operate many of the power tools in helping build pieces of the sets for performances. We built an entire set for a performance of Hamlet in Winter quarter, and a circus scene in our shop for the end of the year department carnival.
